January Favorites :)

I know, I know! I am a million days late on this, (17 to be exact...) but instead of just skipping it I wanted to go ahead and put it up. Better late than never right??? Since this is my first Fav's video I wasn't sure how I wanted to do it... Everything all together in one pic? Each product with it's own pic?? In the end I decided to group it in different sections (i.e., Hair, Makeup...). Hope you enjoy it!
~products with a * behind them are ones that I am going to do a separate review for~

                                                              **Makeup**

Back Row : Maybelline Super Stay 24 hr Foundation*,
Maybelline Colossal Mascara (I got this the day after Christmas when they marked all of the sets half off... it came with the mascara, and eyeshadow quad, and an eyeliner. When I first tried it, I didn't like it. But I think it was because I was used to the Lash Blast's rubber brush and this one has a "brush" brush lol. But after trying it again, I really liked it :)
CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara (not really much to say about this lol. It has been "my" mascara for a very long time. I first used the orange one, but when they came out with the Fusion, I tried it. To me, they were the same, I just like the purple tube better lol)
Softlips in Vanilla (my all time fav!)
Rimmel Fix and Perfect Face Primer (ok, I can't say if this is one of the best primers ever, because I have only tried this one and one by CoverGirl that came with a foundation. But I really like it :) It has a bit of a tint to it but nothing major. I really like that it "erases" my pores lol.)
Nyx Eyeshadow Base (like the face primer, I can't say if this is amazing or not because it's only the second primer I've ever owned. But to me, it does make my shadows last a lot longer than if I don't use a primer. And it does make the shadows apply more opaque than if I don't use it)
Wet N Wild Blush in Pearlescent Pink ( this is the second wnw blush I bought. The first was Heather something (can't remember exactly what it was called) and it was a bit too dark for every day. So I got this one because it looked lighter. It has little gold shimmers all in it, which I didn't think I would like because I prefer a more matte blush, but it doesn't really show up on your face. I tried my hardest to get a photo of it up close but I couldn't get one to show the "true" color :( but overall, I really do like the color :)

Front Row: Physicians Formula Pressed Powder ( This was on sale for $5 at Rite Aid one day, so I bought it because their other products are usually bewtween $10-$15. After I used it, I found out why... It gives great coverage, but it "sheds" like crazy. Seriously, you can barely put your brush in it and it falls out all over the place. But I liked the way it looks on my face, so I just learned to tolerate it... For example, I bought this around the beginning of January and I have already hit the pan :( super sad...
Maybelline Mineral Power Blush in True Peach ( I found this at Walgreens in the clearance bin for $1!! I was super excited lol. It is the most perfect everyday color! It's not shimmery at all, but it isn't really matte either... It's bizarre. lol
EOS Lip Balm (the one shown is Tangerine i think. It's medicated, which I did not know until I opened it :( My favorite one is Summer Fruit which was MIA for a while, so I just pictured the other one. Right after I got through taking pictures, I found it. sneaky little bastard... )
Elf Eyelash Curler (there really isn't anything super special about this one compared to others. Except that it was only a dollar lol. But I love it :)
Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in Chai Latte ( this is my favorite thing in the whole wide world :) lol. I use it ust about every day. I use it basically how they advise you to. I might do a "daily eye look" post showing this. I have done it so much that it only takes me about 1 minute lol.. here is a close up picture of it....

And somehow I forgot to include my Nyx Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils in the photo... poor things :( But I like Milk (white) and French Fry (kind of a bronzy brown color)

**Hair**
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Color Renew Tone Restoring Shampoo (Good Lord, that's a lot to type lol. I got this because MakeupByTiffanyD so highly recommends it :) and I love it! It's a purple shampoo which helps blonde hair from turning orange and brassy. It makes my hair very soft, and it keeps the blonde brighter :) I got the conditioner too, and I like it also, but I haven't been using it lately...
Got2B Guardian Angel Heat Protect N Flatten (I use this when I straighten my hair. It makes it so smooth feeling and frizz-free :)
Loreal Ever Pure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque ( I loooove this stuff! It makes my hair super duper soft :) It smells like Rosemary and Mint, but it's the good kind of mint smell not the toothpaste kind lol.
Dove Daily Moisture Conditioner ( I bought this at Walgreens in the clearance bin one day, not expeccting great things. I am not really a fan of Dove hair products. I liked it when they first came out with it, but I don't know if they changed it or what, but it just makes my hair feel weighed down. But this stuff, I love. It makes my hair super soft and less tangly :)
Nexxus Sleek Finish Frizz Taming Silkening Lotion ( I bought this on sale at Walgreens too... It makes my hair really soft and non-frizzy :)
Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti Humidity Hair Spray ( I only use hair spray when I curl my hair, and I like this one because it has a flexible hold and it supposedly fights humidity, which in Louisiana, is needed....)
Pantene Humidity Protection Leave in Cream ( I love this stuff! it makes my hair really soft and silky feeling and let's not forget, it helps with humidity....)

I could not get a good picture of my hair tools for the life of me. lol. But anyways...
Conair Instant Heat 1 inch Curling Iron ( I love this thing. It gets really hot really fast :)
Cortex Flat Iron ( I have had this thing for forever. It gets hot really fast, and it seems to be doing the job good. lol. I think it is about time for a new one though... It's starting to come apart on the edges and it pulls my hair...
Pro Beauty Tools Hair Dryer ( I bought this at Wal-Mart when my other one broke. It said on the box that it was supposed to compare to Chi, but I have no clue if it really does. The only thing I have noticed about it that is different from any other hair dryers I have owned is that my hair seems just a tad less frizzy after I dry it... and by a tad, I mean a tad. I am going to have super frizzy afro hair no matter what tools I use lol.

**Skin/Body**
Garnier Fructis Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam ( I bought this because the winter weather has been making my face super dry, and I am not a fan. It's the weirdest consistency though. It looks like a cream cleanser, but when you add water and rub it between your hands it turns into a foamy cream.)
St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub ( I have used St Ives Scrubs since I was a child, but I decided to try the Green Tea one because it is supposed to help with redness. I haven't really noticed a difference, but I like the way it smells better than the original and I like the texture of it....)
Clean and Clear Finishes Pore Perfecting Moisturizer ( I have a pore problem. for reals. And I am currently on a mission to fix this. I like the moisturizer because it is light feeling but it doesn't leave my face feeling dry. As for the "pore perfecting" part of it, I haven't really noticed a difference.
Oil Of Olay Active Hydrating Cream ( I use this when I am having really dry face days. It doesn't feel greasy which I like :) But it has a very strong floral-ish smell that I do not :(
Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Body Wash and Triple Moisture Body Cream ( This is my favorite B&BW scent of all time! I wish that it was available all year round, but alas, it is not. So for the other 10 months of the year, I am forced to switch back to Sweet Pea (my 2nd fav :). It makes my skin super moisturized and it smells amazing! what else is there to say???
Dare Me perfume ( this smells awesome! I bought it at Rite Aid after Christmas on the half off sale :) I got the perfume and body cream for $10 I think :)

**Makeup Brushes**

I will probably only do this for this month, because they pretty much stay the same. But I didn't want them to feel left out, so I included them this time... Most of them are from Coastal Scents except the one with the white handle (which is ELF) and the last 2 on the right (which I got from Target and have no clue as to what brand they are) I will just give a quick overview of them...
Eyelash Comb It's basically the same as every other one out there, It is just the only one I have, therefore it is my favorite :)
Fan Brush (I use it to dust a highlighter on my face)
Small Eyeliner Brush (I have no clue if that is what it really is or not... but I use it to apply gel/cream eyeliner.
Small Crease Brush ( I usually use this to apply a darker color right in the crease or on the outer corner)
Smaller Blending Brush (ya know.. it blends :)
Blush Brush (it's kind of small so I use it when I want a darker more focused color)
Powder Brush (nothing special to say about it....)
Large Blending Brush (I love this brush! it's freaking huge! I use it to blend out my eyeshadow, and I sometimes use it to apply powder to my under eye area. I need to get another one so I don't have to keep switching...)
Pink Kabuki Brush (I love this too :) I use it when I need fuller coverage or when I'm just wearing powder foundation)
Pink Eyshadow Brush (lol, I don't really know what to call this one... I just use to to apply my lid color and up into the crease sometimes...)
ELF Blending Eye Brush ( I don't use this as a blending brush, to me it is way too small. But it is prefect for a crease brush! I love love love it! )
Stippling Brush (I bought this to use with foundation. It was ok, but I didn't really like it. One thing, it is kind of cheaply made and the "white hairs" are very sparse. And even after washing, it sheds like crazy. But I have found it to be perfect for applying blush :) I usually use it with the Maybelline Mineral blush...)
Concealer Brush ( The only thing this poor brush has ever been used for is to apply my NYX eyeshadow base. Here lately I have just been using my finger, but when I do use the brush, it works nicely... )

Good Lord, that was a very long post... But I hope you enjoyed it :) and next month (aka, in 2 weeks) I will try my hardest to be on time! Until next time, Rebecca :)
